
Senior Accountant
Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Financial Analyst provides financial planning and analysis by applying principles of finance, accounting and data analysis to prepare reports by performing the following duties. This position works directly with the CFO and supports the Leaders and Managing Partners across the company. Must have ability to work independently but also as a team, one who collaborates with others to accomplish short and long-term tasks in a time sensitive manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Maintains and creates reporting platforms and reports.

Assist in the budget & forecasting process.

Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed.

Develop, maintain and distribute ad-hoc reports and financial models as needed.

Assist management team with analytics on data mining of the company.

Trend and forecast operating levers relevant to profitability, cash flow and ROIC.

Provide transparency into financial and operating variables in the business for operational management and follow with insightful recommendations for changes and process.

Assist with month end close process.

Prepare monthly account reconciliations of certain balance sheet accounts.

Complete special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
-
Advanced knowledge of excel required.

Accounting/GAAP knowledge a plus
-
Microsoft D365 experience a plus (any large ERP exposure preferred – Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft)

Atlas experience a plus

Business intelligence (BI) software experience a plus

2 - 4 years of experience in reporting, consolidation and financial analysis

Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects.

Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
