BONITZ RAISES OVER $8,600 FOR THE 24 FOUNDATION

This past weekend, members of Bonitz of Charlotte participated in 24 Hours of Booty. This annual event, celebrating its 18th year, takes place on the Booty Loop in Charlotte, North Carolina and attracts over 1,400 participants who cycle and walk to raise money for the 24 Foundation’s cancer navigation and survivorship programs. The team, led by William Huckaby, consisted of Justin Henry, Regan Dougherty, John Charles, and Kate McEvoy who collectively raised over $8,600.

“We’d like to thank our wonderful donors, sponsors, vendor partners, families, and friends. Without them, events like this can’t happen. With such an important cause, we’re so touched by the outpour of support,” said Justin Henry who cycled over 60 miles in honor of his mother, Nancy Bridges Henry.

Celebrating 70 Years
The incredible support from associates truly exemplifies the company’s purpose of “positively impacting and enhancing the lives of others.” Bonitz teams across the country have raised money and awareness for many causes over the years including breast cancer, the American Heart Association, food pantries, Toys for Tots, and many more.

The team hopes to double in size for next year’s event with the goal of having an even bigger impact on the 24 Foundation’s cancer programs.
